Who Is Eligible for DAV Lifetime Membership?

Any man or woman: who served in the armed forces during a period of war or under conditions simulating war, AND was wounded, disabled to any degree, or left with long-term illness as a result of military service, AND Was discharged or retired from military service under honorable conditions

How Much Does a DAV Lifetime Membership Cost?

DAV life membership is $300. We offer flexible payment plans starting at $10 a month. For veterans age 80 or older, DAV membership is free

What are DAV Membership Advantages?

As a DAV Life Member, in addition to our programs and free services for veterans, you are entitled to member advantages, including:

How Will DAV Membership Dues Help Fellow Veterans?

Membership is the lifeblood of DAV. Our community of over 1 million veterans stands together to ensure our nation keeps its promises to the men and women who served our country. Your dues help in many ways:

Helps returning Veterans transition back to civilian life by matching them with services that address their physical, emotional, and financial needs

They provide free, professional assistance to veterans of all generations in obtaining VA and other government benefits earned through service

Provides the means to advocate for better federal Veteran programs, benefits, health care and transition services on Capitol Hill

Link veterans to job training and job assistance programs

Fund rehabilitation programs for veterans with severe disabilities, such as blindness or amputation.

How Can I Join The DAV?

Joining the DAV as a Life Member is quite simple.  Just click on: "JOIN DAV"

Be sure to use the link on the application to locate the closest Chapter to you or just add the Chapter number you already plan on becoming an active member

If you spoke with an active member about your memberhip; be sure to contact them and get their membership number to provide for your chapter
